Katrina Shafer is a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) in the state of Massachusetts, nationally certified and a professional member of American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA).  She graduated from Bancroft School of Massage Therapy (BSMT) in Worcester, Ma. in August 2002.  In November of 2002 she opened Caring Touch Massage Therapy and has been practicing massage in the town of Natick for over 7 years.  Caring Touch services Natick, Sherborn, Wellesley, Framingham, Ashland, Dover, Needham, Newton as well as other surrounding towns. Katrina's mission is to help heal your body, relax your mind and rejuvenate your spirit.   She accomplishes this by educating, deeply massaging and relaxing her clients. Katrina offers many modalities including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Performance enhancing stretching (Thai Massage), and Pre/Post Natal Massage. 


Just recently Katrina was trained in a Athletic Performance Enhancing stretching technique (Thai Massage).  Thai Massage is performed on the padded mat on the floor.  These techniques are all performed over the clothes.  Some consider the techniques a lazy mans yoga because the therapist will passively position the client into different stretches and then the therapist will add compressions using hands, knees, forearms or feet.

Her specialty revolves around athletes and injury related work. She believes in healing the body, relaxing the mind and rejuvenating the spirit while relieving the pain.
